I feel Harriet can be a bit annoying. How she can't read people very well? I feel she is quick tempered and things get to her head alot. This is my opinion and nevertheless it's still a great book it just ruined part of the experience when I am face palming half the time!
I think this is one of my favourite series so whe I hear a fourth book was coming out I was delighted.

Firstly,why I love this series
· I think Harriet has a really unique voice
·I love all the terrible situations she finds herself in,and how easily she resolves them in the end,with the help of a kind family member/friend
·I love Annabel and Richard,they are hilarious

Secondly,what happens in the book?*SPOILER ALERT*
First off,Harriet is still settling in with her little sister Tabitha.She starts high school(spoilerit goes disastrously wrong on the first day).
After a while she notices that Nat and Toby are ignoring her,to the point of being rude.Alexa is being characteristically nasty but soon the tables turn.......
Harriet is pressurized into throwing a party,at which there is many shocks and Harriet eventually accepts herself.

Thirdly,what I thought
I thought it was a little boring but overall a good book.. can't wait for the next one!
This is my favorite book of the series so far.

Harriet is going into 6th form, sure that this new year will mark a new start in her life. Best friend, Nat, is no longer at school with her and stalker Toby is not talking to her so Harriet is a bit lost but determined to fit in and make some new friends. And her plan appears to work. Former enemies of hers are cozying up to her like nobody's business and Harriet is suddenly popular! Of course, what Harriet thinks is happening and what is actually happening are two different things and there's a big mess to untangle.

Parts of the story remind me a bit of 'Joy Luck Club' and the kind daughter who feels like no one ever sees her. In 'All that Glitters' Harriet's true friends see her clearly for the kind and generous person that she is and that is just lovely to see. I found the last couple of chapters particularly moving and powerful.

Highly recommended.
